Confetti blanket from Borgo de’ Pazzi wol!

For those who follow me on Instagram – really my favorite among the social media – Has seen that I am crocheting the confetti blanket of Studio Hip en Stip. a few times I saw the blanket pass by and suddenly I was crocheting this beautiful blanket. I must say that I am very dedicated to this blanket! There is currently no other crochet work! Via Instagram I got the question a few times: ‘Wow Marijke, which yarn do you use?’ Because this is quite a list of colors and numbers, I decided to write a blog post, now I can refer everyone to my website!

Confetti, the heart of this blanket

The pattern description of the blanket is described in the book ‘Haken met Studio Hip en Stip’.
The pattern starts with a circle that forms the heart for this granny square. When the circle is made, you continue crocheting and made a square from it.
During hooking, for a while I also hooked a lot of ‘confetti’: just crocheting the rounds… That gives a lot of happy dots! I can imagine that the name of this blanket has arisen by making a lot of this dots!

Borgo de ‘Pazzi

Much of this yarn was from the brand ‘Borgo de’ Pazzi ‘and I used this yarn to hook this blanket. The color Lilac: Borgo de pazzi Tweed COL: 101
Unfortunately, no store can find online that sells it!And I still use a light pink from Stylecraft special DK color: ‘Candyfloss’

The last color is the gray with a slight glitter / glam in it. With that I join the grannies.

Bordo de’Pazzi ‘Pello’ COL 41 I had to order this and I could only find one store online where I could do this:

Hook up

Well, this is the first information about my current project. I continue to focus on this blanket and I expect a next message very soon … and of course the version that he is finished!
I currently have 60 Granny squares joined together..!

      Precies zoals je het zegt Cisca! Eigenlijk ook wel heel toepasselijk: de confetti deken, als symbool voor mijn haakfeestjes!

      I checked for you how much yarn I ordered later. These were nine balls of wool.
      Apologies that I didn’t mention this. I just don’t know how many I had already used!
