a Few years ago, I designed the pattern of this shawl. I only wrote this one never out for you! Such a pity! Now I had a nice sphere that I bought about two years ago: ‘Winter Rainbow’ from the brand Katia. At that time I bought it for a scarf / wrap for my red coat. He seemed perfect in terms of color! And now he is finally ready! And now I share the pattern for free with you! Below you can read how you can crochet your Sandy shawl!

Necessities:

  • Crochethook 5 mm
  • 1 ball of yarn katia Winter Rainbow
  • Stitch Marker
  • Darning Needle
  • Scissors

Sandy shawl pattern

Row 1. Crochet 9 chain, in the 3rd chain from the needle you crochet
* 1 Single Crochet and 1 Double Crochet, skip 1 stitch *
repeat from * – * to the last chain.

Row 2. Crochet 2 Chain (= 1st Single Crochet), turn your work, crochet in the last Double Crochet v.d. previous row 1 Double Crochet,
* in the next Single Crochet, 1 Single Crochet and 1 Double Crochet *  
Repeat from * – * to the end.
In the last stitch (the 2 Chain loop) you crochet 1x 1 Single Crochet and 1 Double Crochet)
Repeat row 2 until you have the desired length of your shawl.

The Edge
After your last round to create your ‘basic shawl’, start with the edge by just crocheting further, only then go around the corner, down towards the point.

Row 1. Crochet 5 Chain and skip 2 stitches, *1 Double Crochet 2 Chain, skip 2 stitches *  
Repeat from * – * until you reach the point at the bottom of the shawl, making sure the last Double Crochet is in the corner. Crochet 3 Chain and crochet 1 Double Crochet just past the corner.  
*1 Double Crochet 2 Chain, skip 2 stitches *
Repeat from * – * until you reach the next corner. make sure the last Double Crochet is in the corner. Crochet 3 Chain and crochet 1 Double Crochet just past the corner.  *1 Double Crochet 2 Chain, skip 2 stitches *
Repeat from * – * until you reach the top of your shawl.  Work 5 Chain and turn.

Row 2. * Crochet 1 Single Crochet on the Double Crochet from the previous round, 2 Chain *  
Repeat from * – * to the end. Crochet in the 3rd v.d. 5 Chain 1 Single Crochet.

Row ​​3. 4 Chain, turn around. *Crochet 1 Single Crochet around the 1st 5 Chain, crochet 5 Double Crochet into the next Chain, 1 Single Crochet around the next Chain, 2 Chain, 1 Single Crochet around the next Chain * Repeat from * – * to the end.  
I finished my tour with 5 Double Crochet in the Chain.
