At the last ‘minute<\/strong>‘ before here birth, I was just crocheting for Evie<\/strong>
-while puffing away the contractions, I ‘hooked’ the edge, of this wrap. Because Evie has kept us busy for a couple of weeks, I never allowed myself to put the pattern online. But now the time has come! The Evie wrap! Nice to crochet for your own baby or to give away as a gift! <\/strong>

- Crochethook 4.5 mm
You can use size 5mm for the chain.<\/li> - Yarn: 7 Balls Scheepjes ‘Softfun’
Color: burgundy: nmr.2492<\/li> - 1 ball of yarn for the edge, Scheepjes ‘Softfun’
Color: pink: nmr.2612 <\/li> - Stitch Marker <\/li>
- Darning Needle <\/li>
- Scissors <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Sample: <\/strong>
9 cm \/ 9 cm: chain 16 + 1 = 15 stitches and 13 rows <\/p>\n\n\n\nTwill stitch in Half Double Crochet (HDC):<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Turn over, insert into next chain, turn over and pass through the chain and the 1st loop on the crochet hook, turn over and pass through both loops on the crochet hook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Decrease twill stitch: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Flip, stitch in the front loop of the next 2 stitches, flip and pass through the 2 loops and the 1 loop on the needle, flip and pass through the last 2 loops on the needle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pattern description: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a 4.5mm needle and softfun yarn, crochet a chain of 104 release + 1 for the setup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Row 1.<\/strong> Skip the first 2 chain, 1 twill in every following chain, until the end. = 104 stitches <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Row 2<\/strong>. 2 chain (this counts as the 1st twill stitch) In every following stitch you crochet 1 twill stitch. Make sure you skip the 1st stitch, because the 2 chain counts as the 1st stitch. In the turning chain you crochet 1 twill stitch. Times. = 104 stitches <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Row 3.<\/strong> Repeat row 2 127 more times. = 104 stitches <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The cap: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a 4.5mm needle and softfun ships, crochet a chain of 64 + 1 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Row 1. <\/strong>Skip the first 2 chain, 1 twill in every following chain, until the end. = 64 stitches <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Row 2- 32. <\/strong>2 chain (this counts as the 1st twill stitch) Skip the 1st stitch i.v.m. 1st 2 chain, crochet the next 2 stitches together.
In every next stitch you crochet 1 twill stitch. Crochet the last 2 stitches together. Turn.
Every round you reduce 2 stitches. (64-62-60-58 etc.) <\/p>\n\n\n\nAttach the cap<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you’re done, you can hook it to your wrap with slip stitch. You can also choose to secure the cap with a needle and thread. Do what you feel comfortable with! Determine which angle you choose and make sure that you put “the wrong sides” on top of each other and start to crochet them together. Make sure the rows are synchronous with the wrap blanket. Once you have done this, turn your work around: so you do not see a seam where you have attached the blanket to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Confirm softfun the color pink nmr. 2612, in the corner, bottom left (the cover is then up) <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Row 1.<\/strong> Crochet 1 chain, crochet around with a Single Crochet (SC).
Be careful not to over tighten this, otherwise your blanket will pull. I have 3 Single Crochet (SC) by 2 rows on the sides. You can crochet three Single Crochet (SC) in the corners so that you turn around the corner. In the corners of the cap, you don’t do this! When you are at the end of the tour. On the 1st stitch of the row, crochet 1 Slip Stitch (SS). <\/p>\n\n\n\nRound 2.<\/strong> Crochet 3 Chain = 1st stitch. * Skip 2 stitches and in the next stitch crochet 1 Double Crochet (DC), 1 Chain, go back 2 stitches and put a Double Crochet (DC) in there * -you go back over the just crocheted DC-
